GRAVITATIONAL FIELDS & PLANETARY ATMOSPHERES The Broken Beyond simulates the gravitational fields of all large objects in its levels, enabling you to jump between asteroids or establish complex orbital paths around several celestial objects at once. A variety of different types of gravitational fields creates everything from realistic planets you can land on, to planetary discs you can drive around or fall off to the planet below! Planets have atmospheres that simulate the physics behind aerodynamics, making it possible to use propeller propulsion and generate lift with wings or balloons. Aerodynamic drag can also be used to slow a machine's atmospheric entry, preventing it from burning up by coming in too fast or at a bad angle!
